Lightning: near-instant, effectively free. Tron TRC-20: roughly a minute, cents. Solana: seconds, fractions of a cent. Polygon and BNB Chain: under a minute, cents. Ethereum mainnet: a few minutes and a gas fee that fluctuates from tolerable to more than the plan itself.
On-chain Bitcoin sits in the middle — one confirmation is usually enough, but at $3–$8 in fees during busy blocks it's better suited to a $60 regional bundle than a $4 day pass.
What happens after your transaction confirms
The payment processor webhooks us the confirmation. We verify the amount against the server-side price for that exact package — never a client-supplied figure — then call the carrier API to provision the profile.
The QR code, activation code and setup guide are emailed within minutes. If provisioning ever fails after payment, the order is flagged and support reaches out; we never silently keep a paid order unfulfilled.
Why the price is quoted, not converted
Plans are priced in USD and quoted into your coin at send time with a short lock window, so volatility between order and confirmation is ours to absorb, not yours.

How long does a crypto eSIM payment take to confirm?
Lightning and Solana clear in seconds, Tron and BNB Chain in about a minute, on-chain Bitcoin in roughly ten minutes for one confirmation, and Ethereum in a few minutes depending on gas.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Underpayments are held and flagged. You'll get an email at the address you provided with the option to send the difference or take a refund to an address you nominate.
What if I send on the wrong network?
Contact support@cryptoesim.io with the transaction hash immediately. Recovery depends on the chain and asset, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's retrievable.
Do you hold my crypto?
No. Payments are processed and settled by our payment provider — we're not a custodian and hold no customer balances.
Is there a crypto surcharge?
No. The listed USD price is the price. You cover only the network fee your wallet charges to broadcast the transaction.
