Can You Reinstall a Deleted eSIM?
Yes — in most cases. If you accidentally deleted your eSIM, you can reinstall it by rescanning the original QR code. The key condition: your plan must still be valid and have data remaining. An eSIM profile isn't destroyed when deleted from your device — it still exists on our system.
When Reinstallation Works
- ✅ Plan not expired
- ✅ Data not fully used
- ✅ Same device you originally installed on
When It Does NOT Work
- ❌ Plan fully used up — no data remaining
- ❌ Validity expired
- ❌ Different device — eSIMs cannot be transferred after first activation (see transfer guide)
How to Reinstall Your eSIM
Step 1: Retrieve Your QR Code
Find the original QR code in your confirmation email, or go to cryptoesim.io/order-lookup and enter your email + order number.
Step 2: Reinstall on iPhone
- Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code
- Scan the original QR code
- Re-enable Data Roaming for the eSIM after installation
Step 3: Reinstall on Android
- Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add SIM
- Scan your original QR code and follow setup
Important Warning
Never delete an eSIM to "fix" a connectivity problem. In most cases the fix is simply enabling Data Roaming — see our no internet guide.
Still Can't Reinstall?
If the QR shows "already used" or you're getting errors, contact support with your order number. We'll check the status and reissue free if still valid.
